We offer

We're committed to providing a wide-ranging and free support package for all our adopters and their children.

Starting with pre-adoption training and your own dedicated Social Worker, this then carries through into a comprehensive range of measures for post-adoption support including newsletters, training sessions, peer support, bespoke assistance and help with the Adoption Support Fund.

The service has provided guidance, signposting and referals to people who 'get' where we are.

Who can access support?

Pre-adoption support is available to all potential adopters who have chosen Family Adoption Links.

Post-adoption support is available for:

children who have been adopted through Family Adoption Links up until they are 18.
children who have been adopted from another agency, reside in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Rutland or North
Lincolnshire and the adoption was over 3 years ago.
children who are subject to a SGO (Special Guardianship Order) and were a looked after child immediately before the SGO order.
