Thinking of

adoption?

“Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about”

If creating a family through adoption is all you can think about, we’d love to hear from you. Family Adoption Links is a warm and friendly agency that welcomes applications from people from all walks of life including single, LGBTQ+ and BAME adopters.

We hope that our website gives you as much information as you need to decide whether adoption is for you. If you have any queries, please get in touch.

What is adoption?

So let’s be straight, adoption is a serious business. It’s the legal process by which children, who can’t be brought up by their birth parents or other connected people, become a full and permanent member of a new family. When you adopt a child you become their legal parent(s) with the same rights and responsibilities as if they were born to you.

Being an adoptive parent is rewarding, life-changing and wonderful (these are the words of our adopters!) and a journey in which Family Adoption Links can help every step of the way.

These powerful words come from Anton and Tony, a couple who recently adopted brothers William and Fredie with help from Family Adoption Links.

Lockdown was life-changing for all of us but especially for Anton and Tony as they brought their new sons William and Fredie home just before the first lockdown last year.
