Her current care includes a well-established feeding routine of five feeds daily with a high-energy formula to support her growth. She takes medication to manage gastrointestinal issues, which has significantly reduced her discomfort. She attends regular physiotherapy sessions and will need ongoing therapeutic appointments as she grows. Her adoptive parents will need to coordinate this care, attend medical appointments, and advocate for her needs, but the support network is already in place to help you do this confidently.
A day in Suki’s world
Despite her challenges, Suki’s personality shines through beautifully. She’s a morning person, often waking up with a smile that could melt your heart. She’s a cuddle bug who loves being held close, and that’s when you’ll see her most relaxed and content. She’s sensitive to her environment, so while loud or chaotic spaces aren’t her thing, she absolutely blossoms with calm, loving care and a routine she can count on.
Even though she lives in a busy household with other children and dogs around, Suki has made it clear she prefers her own quiet corner of the world. Car rides and lots of movement aren’t her favourite, as they make her uncomfortable, but give her a peaceful environment and loving arms, and she’s completely at ease.
