Oscar (1)

Meet cheeky explorer Oscar – could you be his new Mummy or Daddy?

Oscar is a happy, cheeky chappie who has a wonderful way of capturing hearts wherever he goes. Since getting his glasses, the world has opened up for him – he can now see clearly and is busy exploring every corner of it.

He’s a bundle of curiosity and energy, always on the move. His carers say they need “eyes in the back of their heads” to keep up with him – he’s into everything, crawling, rolling and now pulling himself up on furniture with the biggest grin on his face.

A little about Oscar

  • Personality: Cheeky, smiley and full of charm,  he loves attention and responds warmly to the people around him.
  • Play: Crawling, cruising the furniture and rolling about are some of his favourite things – Oscar is discovering just how much fun being mobile can be
  • Progress: With the help of physiotherapy, Oscar has come on in leaps and bounds, going from sitting, to crawling, to standing in just a few weeks. His determination is inspiring
  • Relationships: Oscar has formed a very positive bond with his foster carers and enjoys being part of their busy family home (which includes a friendly Labrador!)

What Oscar needs

Oscar has some health needs that are being monitored and while his future development is not yet fully clear, he is making brilliant progress. He will need a family who can offer him:

  • Patience, encouragement and lots of love.
  • Support to help him continue reaching his milestones.
  • A safe space where he can keep exploring the world around him.

It’s also important that Oscar is able to maintain a link with his sister, who has already been adopted separately as their sibling bond is very special.

The family Oscar is hoping for

Oscar would flourish in a nurturing family – whether that’s a single adopter or couple – people who can match his energy, celebrate his cheeky personality and support his ongoing development. With love and guidance, Oscar will bring joy, laughter and a sparkle of mischief to his forever home.

Please note that whilst this image is representative of little Oscar, it is a stock shot and his name has also been changed to protect his identity.
