Oliver (4)

Could you adopt gorgeous Oliver?

This 4 year old is so adventurous, has a big heart and a smile that will brighten your day.

Oliver is a mud pie machine – never happier than when he’s making them.

He’s lively, affectionate and described by his foster carers as a “happy, jolly boy who always has a smile ready to share”.

Oliver loves cars and toy trains and playtime is often filled with imaginative adventures. He enjoys being around other children, whether at nursery or at home and he has built strong relationships with both adults and peers. He sometimes starts off a little shy with new people, but with gentle encouragement he quickly warms up and shows his cheerful, playful side.

He has a settled daily routine, sleeps well, eats well, and is thriving in his foster placement. Oliver is now dry during the day and is proudly learning to feed himself (though mealtimes can still get a little messy!). His language skills are developing well — he understands what is asked of him and is learning lots of new words, often surprising his carers with how much he is now able to share. He also loves to sing along with songs on TV when encouraged, often ending in a giggle.

Oliver has recently started the transition into Reception at his local school, and he has enjoyed meeting his new teachers. With support from nursery and school, he is making fantastic progress, and an application for an EHCP has been made to ensure he continues to have everything he needs to thrive in education.

What Oliver needs

Oliver has made excellent progress with the stability and love of his foster carers, and he is ready to move forward into a forever family who can support him as he grows.

He needs:

  • A patient, loving family who can accept him for who he is
  • Parents who are open to supporting his learning needs and helping him to continue building his language and social skills
  • A family who can keep links with his siblings and offer him lots of opportunities to play, learn, and explore.

The family Oliver needs

Oliver would thrive in a family who have time, energy and plenty of love to share. He would especially benefit from a family who enjoy the outdoors and who can encourage his playful, curious nature.

In return, Oliver will bring joy, laughter, and endless muddy adventures to your lives. Find out more…
