Tristan (3)

Tristan is a fun loving 3-year-old who lights up the room with his sparkly blue eyes and infectious laughter. Polite and kind-hearted, Tristan’s little “please” and “thank yous” warm the hearts of everyone he meets. He’s a thoughtful and helpful little gentleman, offering comforting hugs—even to the family dog!

Tristan’s quick wit and cheeky sense of humour keep everyone around him smiling. But what truly stands out is his intelligence and determination. With an inquisitive mind and a thirst for knowledge, Tristan eagerly explores the world, never giving up on a challenge.

Since coming into care, Tristan has made incredible strides. Once non-verbal and without a routine, he’s now a smart, strong-willed boy who can express his feelings and tell you exactly how he’s doing. He was toilet trained in just two weeks and he’s also thriving at nursery, attending five days a week where his bright mind shines through in his favourite activities: playing with trains and enjoying a good book. He’s also a big fan of swimming.

Tristan’s love for animals is as gentle as his heart. He’s very affectionate with the family dog and is deeply empathetic, even getting upset if someone harms an insect. Tristan’s love of water means he really enjoys bath time, though he’s not too keen on showers. Tristan has settled into a great routine at his foster carers, he wakes up at 6:30 am and he’s usually in bed by 7:00 pm.  Like any toddler, he can have the occasional tantrum but thankfully, he’s easily distracted and calms down quickly.

Tristan’s foster carers describe him as a kind, empathetic and funny little boy with a secure attachment, though he can be a bit wary of strangers. They say he’s a cheeky “old soul” and a “gentleman in a 3-year-old’s body”.

Tristan’s ideal family would be active and able to match his boundless energy, offering the right balance of fun and structure. With his delightful personality and bright spirit, Tristan is ready to bring joy, laughter and love to his forever home.

If you think you could be the loving family that Tristan needs and would like to find out more about him, please get in touch.
