Oscar (6) and Archie (4)

Meet Oscar and Archie: Two amazing little brothers ready for a loving forever home

Oscar is a lively, energetic 6-year-old with a big heart and an infectious enthusiasm for life! He absolutely loves being outdoors, where he feels free and can burn off some of that boundless energy. Whether he’s running fast, playing on the trampoline, or splashing around on a ‘slip n slide,’ Oscar shines in environments where he can be active and explore. His foster carers say that Oscar’s cheeky personality and sense of humour make him the life of any gathering—he loves making both children and adults laugh.

Despite his energetic nature, Oscar also enjoys cuddles and quiet moments at the end of a busy day. He’s a bundle of joy who appreciates positive attention from adults and enjoys playing with other children. His three favourite things in the world? Playing outside, chocolate eggs, and dinosaurs! Oscar loves school, especially maths, and is eager to learn, although he does sometimes need help slowing down and focusing. He’s been making incredible progress since entering foster care, and although he faces challenges with attention span and fine motor skills, his determination to improve is inspiring.

Oscar thrives when there are consistent routines and boundaries in place. Having experienced early-life instability, he responds well to structure and needs gentle reminders, such as using “kind and gentle hands” when playing with others. His foster carers have helped him settle into a nurturing environment, and Oscar has come on leaps and bounds since then. He loves his foster family, including their big cuddly dog, Bruce, and his younger brother, Archie, whom he is very close to.

Archie, a joyful and playful 4-year-old, is just as energetic and loves being outside as much as his big brother. Described as a “breath of fresh air,” Archie’s cheeky grin and bright brown eyes light up every room he enters. He adores superheroes, especially Iron Man, and his favourite toys are action figures and dinosaurs. Archie also enjoys jumping on the trampoline and playing games with his foster family.

Despite early challenges, including speech delays, Archie has made fantastic progress with the help of his foster carers and nursery teachers. He is now beginning to put three-word sentences together and is learning to follow instructions well. His carers are confident that, with continued support, Archie will continue to flourish. His bubbly personality and love for cuddles make him a warm and affectionate little boy who enjoys making people laugh with his playful antics.

These brothers share an incredible bond and would thrive in a home where they can be together, surrounded by love, structure, and plenty of opportunities to play and explore. Oscar and Archie are looking for a family who enjoy outdoor adventures, understand the importance of routines, and is ready to provide the therapeutic parenting style that will help them continue to grow and develop.
