Jack (5) and Aria (3)

Meet Jack and Aria, a dynamic duo full of laughter and fun.

Jack and Aria are a pair of lively siblings who bring playful energy to any situation.

Let’s start by telling you a bit more about Jack, a bright and resilient little boy with a contagious smile that lights up any room. Despite facing challenges early in his childhood, his zest for life is evident in everything he does. Jack is delayed in his development due to early trauma, but that doesn’t stop him from embracing new experiences and making remarkable progress each day.

Jack is small for his age and requires daily growth hormone injections but he handles these with remarkable bravery, quickly returning to his favourite activities afterward. He attends a mainstream school with the support of an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) and is non-verbal, though he communicates effectively through sounds, gestures, and recently, a few words like “more.”

Jack’s excitement is infectious, often expressed through joyful shouts, finger-spreading and arm-flapping. While he can be loud when frustrated, his foster carers have learned to understand his needs and help him navigate his feelings. Jack also has a squint in one eye and, although he doesn’t yet enjoy wearing his glasses, it doesn’t hinder his enthusiasm for life.

Since moving into foster care, Jack has made tremendous progress in expressing himself and showing off his personality. He still wears nappies and takes daily medication to help with bowel movements, but this doesn’t stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. Jack loves music and dancing, and his foster carers often join in to encourage his movement and fun.

Now some more about his little sister Aria…

Aria is a happy, chatty, and affectionate little girl with a heartwarming smile. She has a strong attachment to her foster carers and loves spending time with them, showering them with cuddles and love. Aria’s kind and caring nature shines through, and she’s doing incredibly well in her development.

She’s a bright little girl who is excited to learn new things and is making fantastic progress with her language skills, now able to speak in full sentences. She’s becoming more aware of her surroundings and loves to be involved in everything happening around her.

Aria enjoys helping out around the house, often following her foster carer around to assist with cleaning and other tasks. She adores her older brother Jack and loves playing with him and helping care for him. As her confidence grows, Aria sometimes likes to take charge and can be a bit bossy, eager to be at the centre of the action.

Aria is looking for a forever family that will embrace her enthusiasm for learning, enjoy fun days out together, and provide her with the love and attention she thrives on.

Together, Jack and Aria are searching for a loving and patient family who can nurture their unique personalities, support their growth, and share in the joy and laughter they bring to every moment.
