Charlie (7 months)

7 month old Charlie is a gorgeous little baby with the deep brown eyes and the biggest smile.

Charlie loves nothing more than to have lots of cuddles and babble away to the adults in the room. He certainly has a lot to say for such a little one. He’s doing everything you would expect for his age enjoying time on his play mat, rolling from side to side and taking in his environment.

Charlie enjoys to be played with and is used to being around other young children and teenagers(and a little dog) in his busy foster family.

Charlie has made excellent progress in care considering he was born early. His development has come on in leaps and bounds and he’s smiling, babbling at everyone who talks to him and rolling over.

At the moment, he’s not a big fan of tummy time for long periods of time but he really enjoys playing on his play mat and going out for walks to the park.

Charlie enjoys the attention and interactions from other children in his foster family and will watch them intently as they play around him and with him.

He loves nothing more than a cuddle and is happiest in the arms of his carer. He is forming positive attachments to his carers and those around him and can be easily settled and soothed.

Charlie would love a family who can give him all the love and care that he needs and a parent or parents who can give him lots of physical comfort and reassurance.

Charlie needs someone who can be mindful of his identity as we are unsure of his ethnicity, offering support, curiosity and empathy as he grows. His future family will need to be able to support his relationship with his older siblings and consider where possible direct contact with them.

Charlie needs his future family to understand his early years experiences and advocate for him as he grows, so that he can flourish and thrive.
