Cally is a lively and joyful one-year-old who loves being around both adults and children. She’s already very sociable and enjoys babbling away, with “Hiya” being one of her favourite words.

Cally is curious and loves exploring her surroundings. She adores playing with her toys and is often described as ‘cheeky’ because she has a knack for making people laugh.

Cally is thriving and meeting all her developmental milestones. She still enjoys her naps and mostly sleeps through the night, giving her plenty of energy for her busy days filled with fun and playgroups with friends.

She’d generally well and healthy with a varied and balanced diet. She loves trying new foods and is beginning to feed herself with some assistance. Her favourite treats are strawberries, grapes, and banana bread, but she also enjoys garlic bread and chocolate biscuits.

Cally has a consistent bedtime routine and is good at settling herself to sleep. She currently attends playgroups with her foster carer, which she enjoys, although she often likes doing her own thing.

Cally is learning about her body parts and can clap her hands when asked. She stands independently and is trying to climb the furniture. Building blocks are one of her favourite toys and she loves music, especially when she can have a little dance.

While she doesn’t have a favourite book yet, Cally loves turning pages and looking at pictures. She enjoys all kinds of music and nursery rhymes and likes clapping her hands along to the beat. She particularly enjoys push-and-pull toys and her toy telephone with a string.
