Ben (6) and Ethan (4)

Hey! We are Ben (6) and Ethan(4), we are both active and energetic little boys who love the outdoors.

Ben is so enthusiastic and has a big heart. He has a deep love for the outdoors, where he feels a real sense of freedom allowing him the opportunity to burn off energy. Ben is thriving in his current foster care placement and responds well to positive attention from adults but also loves playing with other children.

Ben wanted everyone to know that his three favourite things in the whole world are playing outside, chocolate eggs and dinosaurs!

Ben’s big personality makes him shine, he is cheeky and loves making other children and adults laugh. He is a bundle of energy but also does appreciate winding down with cuddles and affection at night time.

Ben has experienced multiple placement moves but he has settled brilliantly in his most recent placement. Due to his early life experiences, Ben does need consistent routines and boundaries which he responds well to. Like other little boys he sometimes needs to be reminded to have ‘kind and gentle hands’ which helps to make sure he plays wells with others. He’s learning to give the other children their own space as Ben loves to play all the time whereas his friends might need a break.

Ethan is 4 and has been described as a ‘breath of fresh air’. His cheeky personality goes hand in hand with his beautiful smile. Ethan is very playful and he loves running, jumping and throwing balls outside. Ethan loves to give cuddles and affections to his carer. He also loves superheroes and gets excited when he gets to show someone new his Iron Man teddy and figure.

He’s incredibly loving, always eager to snuggle up next to you or share a toy, showing how much he cares in his own special way. His laughter is infectious, a giggle that fills the room and makes everyone around him smile. Playtime is his favourite time, whether he’s doing gymnastics in the garden, playing on the trampoline or playing games on the iPad.

Much like his brother, Ethan also thrives being outdoors and would spend all day outside playing if he could.

Both Ben and Ethan are described by their school as a ‘delight’ with ‘cheeky characters who make your heart melt’.
